Dr. Sylvia Kahimbi Mahoto is a Lecturer in the Department of Public Health, School of Nursing and Public Health, University of Namibia. She holds a PhD in Public Health and has extensive experience in public health research, teaching, postgraduate supervision, and community engagement. Her research focuses on health promotion, epidemiology, behavioural health, non-communicable diseases, mental health, sexual and reproductive health, health systems, implementation research, and public health policy. She has published in peer-reviewed journals and collaborates with national and international partners to strengthen evidence-informed public health practice and policy in Africa.
